I-35: Pavement grinding will close the left lane of northbound I-35 between Levee Road and Bedford from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, August 28.

I-35: Bridge construction will close the right lane of westbound Armour Road at I-35 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 28 and 8:30 a.m. to noon on Friday, August 29.

I-35: Pavement grinding will close the left lane of northbound I-35 between Levee Road and Bedford from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, August 27 and 28.

I-35: Utility Work will close the right lane of eastbound Front Street at I-35 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, August 28-29.

I-35: Pavement repairs will restrict traffic at times in various locations on southbound I-35 between the Holt exit (Clay County line) and Route 92 through Aug. 29. All lanes will re-open during weekends.

I-29/35: Wall construction will close the right lane of eastbound Armour Road at I-29/35 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Wednesday, Aug. 27.

I-35: Grading will close the left lane of northbound and I-35 between Independence Avenue and Paseo from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Wednesday, Aug. 27.

Route 69: Utility work will close the left lane of northbound Route 69 between North Oak Trafficway and Route 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, August 27 through September 9.

Henry County

Route O: Pavement patching will restrict traffic on Route O between Route 7 and Route 58 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 27-28.

Jackson County

I-70: Bridge work will restrict traffic to one lane at night on westbound I-70 just before the Manchester Bridge from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2 to Wednesday, September 3.

I-70: Road work will close various lanes of eastbound I-70 between 23rd Street and Route 291 from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, August 29.

I-435: Bridge attachment will close the left lane of southbound I-435 at Oldham Road from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday-Friday, August 28-29.

I-470: Sign truss construction will close the left lane of eastbound I-470 between View High Drive and Route 50 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 2-3.

Route 291: Pavement repair will close the ramp from southbound Route 291 to Route 24 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Friday, August 29.

Route 150: Shoulder work will restrict traffic on westbound Route 150 between 139th Street and the Outer Road from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28.

I-435: Bridge conduit installation will close the right lane of westbound Route 350 at I-435 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday-Friday, August 28-29.

I-435: Bridge attachment will close the right lane of southbound I-435 at Oldham Road from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday-Friday, August 28-29.

I-435: Bridge conduit installation will close the right lane of southbound I-435 at 63rd Street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday-Friday, August 28-29.

I-470: Sign truss construction at night will close the left lane of eastbound I-470 between View High Drive and Route 50 from 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, and each night through Friday morning.

Route 71: Bridge inspection will close various lanes of northbound Route 71 between Bannister Road and 85th Street from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday-Friday, August 28-29.

Route 71: Bridge inspection will close various lanes of southbound Route 71 between Gregory Blvd. and Blue River Road from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Thursday-Friday, August 28-29.

Route 71: Striping will close various lanes of southbound Route 71 between Blue Ridge Blvd. and 155th Street from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Thursday, August 28

Route 291: Pavement repair will close the ramp from northbound Route 291 to Route 24 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning Thursday, August 21. Once repairs are complete on the northbound ramp, the southbound ramp will close through Friday, August 29.
Route W (Bannister Road): Utility work will restrict traffic on Route W (Bannister Road) through Friday, August 29.

Route W (Bannister Road): Pavement repairs will restrict traffic on Bannister Road (Route W) between Holmes Road and State Line from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Sept. 30.

I-29: Resurfacing will close the right lane of northbound I-29 at Todd Creek from 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, to 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27. When resurfacing and re-striping are completed early Wednesday morning, all lanes will be open.

I-29: Bridge rehabilitation will close the right lane of northbound I-29 through the end of August, all lanes will reopen to traffic by Friday, August 29

I-29: Bridge work has restricted traffic on northbound I-29 at I-435 through the end of August. All lanes will reopen to traffic by Friday, August 29

I-29: Bridge work has restricted traffic on southbound I-29 between I-435 and Mexico City Avenue through the first week of September. All lanes will reopen to traffic by Friday, September 5.

I-435: Paving work will restrict traffic on eastbound and westbound I-435 between I-29 and the Cookingham Drive ramps through Mid-September

Route 45: Tree trimming will close one lane of northbound Route 45 at I-435 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. through August 29.

Route 45: Resurfacing will restrict traffic along north and southbound Route 45 at I-435 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. through September 5.

Route 45: Resurfacing will restrict traffic on Route 45 from I-435 to 2.3 miles west of I-435 beginning Monday, August 25 through Friday, September 5. No work will be done over the Labor Day weekend.

Route D: Resurfacing will close various lanes of east and westbound Route D between Route N and Brightwell Road Tuesday, August 26 through Wednesday, September 10.

Long-Term Closures

Cass County
Route 71: Shoulder work on the right turn at Commercial Street on northbound Route 71 could restrict traffic through September.

Route D: Pavement replacement will close Route D to all through traffic between the entrance to Loch Lloyd and 165th Street through Sept. 5. Loch Lloyd residents must come in through the Route 58/174th Street side of the project for the next month. Through traffic on Route D will remain closed from Route 58 to Route 150 until late September.

Clay County
I-29/35: Bridge construction will close the southbound I-29/35 ramp to westbound Armour Road and the ramp from westbound Armour Road to southbound I-29/35 for at least one year.

I-29: New pavement construction will restrict traffic on northbound I-29 between Route 210 and River Front Road from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 31.

Route 69: Milling and resurfacing operations will restrict traffic on northbound Route 69 between Waukomis Drive and I-35 through Oct. 1, 2008.

Jackson County
I-29: Bridgework will close the exit ramp from northbound I-29 to Independence Avenue on Monday, June 30 after 5 p.m. through the end of September.

I-29: Bridge work will close the right lane of northbound I-29 at Front Street through July 2009

I-35: Lane reconfiguration will close the ramp from north Paseo to northbound I-35 through July 2010.

I-70: Bridge expansion joint repairs will restrict traffic on westbound I-70 to one, 12-foot lane on the Lewis & Clark Viaduct over the West Bottoms, shifting traffic from the inside lane to the outside lane through the end of September.

I-70: Expansion joint work on the Lewis and Clark Viaduct will reduce eastbound I-70 over the West Bottoms to two lanes through mid-September.

I-70: Expansion joint work on the Lewis and Clark Viaduct will reduce westbound I-70 over the West Bottoms to one 12-foot-wide lane and close both the ramp from Beardsley Road to westbound I-70 and the ramp from northbound I-35 to westbound I-70 (from the west side of the downtown loop to the Lewis Clark Viaduct Bridge) through the end of September.

I-70:Bridge maintenance and redecking will close the ramp from Route 40 to eastbound I-70 and from westbound I-70 to Manchester Trafficway through mid-August.

I-70: Bridge maintenance and redecking will close the eastbound I-70 ramp to Route 40 beginning 8 p.m. Friday, June 6, for up to 80 days. Eastbound I-70 will be restricted to only two lanes between Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard and I-435 through late September.
Noland Road bridge over I-70: The bridge opened April 13, more than a month ahead of schedule. Bridge reconstruction will restrict lanes of Noland Road at the bridge over I-70, and one ramp may be closed at times for up to two weeks until work concludes this summer.

I-70: Bridge repairs will restrict westbound I-70 to two lanes at Manchester bridge through Oct. 6. Also the ramps will be closed from Manchester Trafficway to westbound I-70, and from northbound and southbound I-435 to westbound I-70 through Oct. 6.

I-470/Route 50: Bridge construction has narrowed lanes through the interchange, and will close lanes in either direction during non-peak hours.

Route 71: Bridge construction now restricts northbound Route 71 between 155th and 143rd Street to two lanes through at least April 2009. Southbound Route 71 traffic will shift to the west side of the northbound bridge on Aug. 22 to allow demolition of the west (southbound) bridge and construction of a new bridge. Southbound Route 71 will also then be reduced to two lanes from 143rd Street southward. Upon completion of the new southbound bridge next spring, traffic will be rerouted to two lanes in each direction over that bridge, and a similar demolition and reconstruction will commence on the northbound bridge into late 2009.

Route 150: Bridge replacement has reduced Route 150 to one narrow lane in each direction over Big Creek and the Union Pacific Railroad in Greenwood.

Route 12: Utility work will close the right lane of westbound Route 12 at Winner Road through Sept. 9.
Route RA: Utility work will restrict traffic on southbound Route RA at Ranson Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, through Sept. 30.

Route F: Road construction will close one lane of north and southbound Route F between 12th and 5th Streets through September.

Lafayette County
Route 20: Bridge work will restrict traffic in both directions on Route 20 Monday, August 11 through September 26.

Route 24: Resurfacing will restrict traffic on Route 24 between Route 65 and Route 13 through November 1.

Route P: Resurfacing will restrict traffic on Route P between Route 24 and Route F on Monday, August 4 through November 1.

Platte County
I-29: Bridge construction will close the right lane of southbound I-29 at I-635 through the end of August.

I-29: Bridge rehabilitation and repairs will close the left lane of southbound and northbound I-29 at Todd Creek near the I-29/435

split, reducing traffic to a single right lane through mid-September.

I-29: Bridge crews will close a lane of northbound I-29 from Route HH to Route 273 at Platte City through Aug. 28, when redecking work is expected to conclude.

I-29: Bridge rehabilitation and repairs will close the ramp from Route A to northbound I-29 through Oct. 15.

I-435: Pavement repairs and paving will close various lanes of north and southbound I-435 from N.W. Cookingham Drive to I-29 during daytimes through Mid-September.

Route 9: Construction of new lanes and shoulders will reduce northbound Route 9 to one lane between I-635 and Mattox Road in Riverside through mid September.

Route 9: Construction of a temporary crossover will close the left lane of southbound Route 9 between Van de Populier and I-635 in Riverside through August.

Route D: Resurfacing will close various lanes of east and westbound Route D between Route N and Brightwell Road Tuesday, August 26 through Wednesday, September 10.

 

Ray County
Route EE: A rock slide has closed both northbound and southbound Route EE at the bridge over the BNSF railroad until a replacement can be constructed.
