2023 MoDOT Annual Report

How does transportation funding work? What is your investment in Missouri’s roads? What are our goals for Missouri’s high-priority transportation needs?

2023 High Priority Unfunded Needs

The High Priority Unfunded Needs list provides direction for future years’ STIP development. The collaboration across the state is critical to get future needs in the right tier of prioritization so MoDOT is ready to respond as federal and state transportation funding becomes available.

Buckle Up Phone Down

Accept the challenge and take the pledge to buckle up every time you get in a vehicle, and if you’re driving, put the phone down.

Work With Us

More buffer truck crashes than ever before… 17 work zone fatalities… This is how Missouri will remember its 2021 construction season. And that’s why MoDOT is pleading with drivers to help turn the tide in 2022. Motorists are urged to make smart, safe driving choices behind the wheel as part of National Work Zone Awareness Week, April 11-15.

Report a Road Concern

If you know of a highway or section of road that needs work, let us know! Maintenance crews throughout Missouri are committed to repairing potholes with asphalt as quickly as possible after it’s reported. MoDOT will aggressively respond and patch potholes to keep state highways smooth and safe for Missouri motorists.

Fight Human Trafficking

MoDOT has joined with other state DOTs and the U.S. Department of Transportation to help fight human trafficking. Human trafficking is a modern-day form of slavery. At its core, it involves the exchanges of goods for services using force, fraud or coercion. Victims are forced into labor or commercial sexual exploitation.
