Butler County

Construction Projects

Route PP in Butler County will be closed as contractor crews replace the bridge over Cane Creek.The bridge is located between Route TT and County Road 449. Weather permitting, work will begin Thursday, May 24 at 7 a.m. and will reopen Wednesday, Aug. 15.

Oak Grove Road-Work to construct ramps for the new Oak Grove Road interchange in Poplar Bluff is expected to begin Thursday, May 24, weather permitting. During this phase of construction, portions of Oak Grove Road will be closed. Oak Grove Road is expected to reopen by mid-August. Although the ramps may not be open to traffic at this time, any remaining ramp work will not require the closure of Oak Grove Road.

Construction Projects

Southbound I-55 in Cape and Scott Counties will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews begin the asphalt overlay.This section of roadway is located from Route 74 at Cape to Route M at Scott City.

Weather permitting, this will be night work only from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning Sunday, June 10 through Wednesday, June 20.

North and southbound I-55 in Ste. Genevieve, Perry and Cape Counties will be reduced to one lane with a 16-foot width restriction as contractor crews install guardrail and guard cable.This section of roadway is located from Route J/N at Ozora to Route E at Oak Ridge.Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday, April 30 through Monday, July 2 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Route F in Cape County will be reduced as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a pipe under the roadway.The section of roadway to be reduced is located from County Road 377 to Route A.Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, May 21 and Tuesday, May 22 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Route A in Cape County will be reduced as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform drainage repairs. The section of roadway to be reduced is located from County Road 223 to Route F.Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, May 23 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Construction Projects

Route 76 in Douglas County will be closed as contractor crews perform bridge maintenance. This section of roadway is located between Route T and Route KK (bridge over Beaver Creek). Weather permitting, work will begin Wednesday, May 30 at 7 a.m. and will reopen by 5 p.m. Thursday, May 31.

Route 76-Work to replace the Route 76 bridge over Bryant Creek in Douglas County is expected to begin Monday, June 11, weather permitting. The bridge is located nine miles east of Ava. As construction is underway, the roadway will remain closed from County Road 76-216 to County Road 76-126. Completion is anticipated in early August, weather permitting. (Safe & Sound)

Route A in Douglas County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge deck maintenance. The bridge over Spring Creek is located between County Road A408 and County Road A 409. Weather permitting, the 10-foot restriction will begin Tuesday, May 29 at 7 a.m. and will be completed by 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 7..

Route AC in Douglas and Ozark County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews partially overlay the roadway. This section of roadway is located from Route 14 in Douglas County to the end of state maintenance in Ozark County. Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, May 22 through Wednesday, May 23 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Route ZZ in Douglas and Wright County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews seal the roadway with a mixture of rock and oil. This section of roadway is located from Route 95 in Wright County to the end of state maintenance in Douglas County. Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, May 23 through Friday, May 25 from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.

BU 63 in Howell County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform ADA sidewalk improvements. The section of roadway is located from Springfield Road to Garfield Street in Willow Springs. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, April 16 through Friday, May 18 from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

WB US 60 in Howell County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform concrete replacement. This section of roadway is located from the Eleven Point River Bridge to the Texas County line. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, May 21 through Thursday, May 24 from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Route 17 in Howell County will be CLOSED as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a pipe under the roadway. The section of roadway in West Plains is located between Independence Drive and Missouri Avenue. Weather permitting, the road will close Monday, May 21 at 7:30 a.m. and will reopen on Thursday, May 24 at 4 p.m..

Route PP in Howell County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews seal the roadway with a mixture of rock and oil. This section of roadway is located from US 63 to Route F. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, May 21 through Wednesday, May 23 from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Iron County

Route N in Iron and Reynolds County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform pavement resurfacing. The section of roadway is located from Route 21 north in Iron County to Route 21 south in Reynolds County. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, April 9 through Wednesday, October 31 from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Route 21 in Iron County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs. This section of roadway is located from Route 32 west to Route 32 east. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, May 21 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Route D in Iron County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs. This section of roadway is located from Route 72 to end of state maintenance. Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, May 22 through Thursday, May 29 from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.

Route U in Scott County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge repairs. This bridge is located between Walnut Street and County Road 425 (bridge over St. Johns ditch). Weather permitting, the work will be performed Monday, May 21 and Tuesday, May 22 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily.

Route 49 in Iron County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.This section of roadway is located form Route K to Wayne County Line.Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, May 23 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Route O in Iron County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.This section of roadway is located between Route 21 and end of state maintenance.Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, May 30 and Thursday, May 31 from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Madison County

Construction Projects

Route 72 Overpass over Route 67-Work to replace the Route 72 overpass over Route 67 in Madison County is expected to begin Thursday, June 7, weather permitting. On June 7, there will be periodic lane reductions on Route 72 and Route 67 as work zone traffic control devices are installed. Demolition of the Route 72 overpass will begin at 7 a.m. on Friday, June 8. During this time, the overpass will close and traffic will follow a marked detour. Additionally, traffic on Route 67 will be detoured to travel up and over the interchange ramps during demolition. Removal of the overpass is expected to be completed by 7 a.m. on Sunday, June 10, which will allow Route 67 traffic to resume normal operations. However, during various stages of construction, Route 67 will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 20-foot width restriction in place. The Route 72 overpass will remain closed as construction is underway. The project is expected to be completed in early August, weather permitting. (Safe & Sound)

Route 60-Work to replace the deck of the Route 60 bridge over the Burlington Northern Railroad in New Madrid County is expected to begin Thursday, May 3, weather permitting. The bridge is located east of Route FF near Route 61. Westbound traffic will be diverted onto the eastbound lanes. In addition to reducing traffic to one lane in each direction, a 16-foot width restriction will be in place. Completion is anticipated in late August, weather permitting. (Safe & Sound)

Route 62 in New Madrid County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform shoulder repairs.This section of roadway is located between Route 61 and County Road 507.Weather permitting, work will be performed Tuesday, May 22 through Thursday, May 24 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Route FF in Oregon County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews partially overlay the roadway. This section of roadway is located from US 160 to the end of state maintenance. Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, May 24 from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Route U in Oregon County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews partially overlay the roadway. This section of roadway is located from US 160 to Route 142. Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, May 24 from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Route N in Ozark County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews partially overlay the roadway. This section of roadway is located from Route 95 to Route 181. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, May 21 and Thursday, May 24 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.

Pemiscot County

Route K in Pemiscot County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace the culvert pipe under the roadway.This section of roadway is located from County Road 289 to County Road 281.Work will take place Thursday, May 24 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Route 164 in Pemiscot County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a pipe under the roadway. This section of roadway is located between Route C and County Road 461.Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, May 22 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Outer Road 55 in Pemiscot will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace the culvert pipe under the roadway.This section of roadway is located from County Road 326 to County Road 330. Work will take place Tuesday, June 5 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.

Perry County

Route T in Perry County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews replace the bridge. This section of roadway is located from Route N to Westside Lane.A temporary one lane bypass will be in place and controlled by signals during the construction of the bridge over Saline Creek.Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, June 4 at 7 a.m. and will reopen Monday, Oct. 1.

Southbound ramp from Rt. 77 to I-55S in Scott County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform shoulder repairs.This section of roadway is the ramp coming from Route 77 to I-55 south at BentonWeather permitting, work will be performed Wednesday, May 30 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Route A in Shannon County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pipe replacement. This section of roadway is located from Route CC to the Dent County line. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, May 21 through Tuesday, May 22 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Route YY in Shannon County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform drainage repairs. This section of roadway is located from Route JJ to end of state maintenance. Weather permitting, work will be performed Thursday, May 24 from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Ste. Genevieve County

North and southbound Route 67 in St. Francois County will be closed as contractor crews remove the existing bridge deck. Traffic on Route 67 will be detoured onto the ramps over Route 67.This section of roadway is located at the 67/ W/221 interchange.Weather permitting, work will take place nightly beginning Monday, April 9 through Friday, June 29 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Route 47/K in St. Francois County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews grade, pave and add signals.This section of roadway is located from Dover Street to Pointview Drive.Weather permitting, work will begin Wednesday, April 19 at 8 a.m. and reopen on Friday, July 20.

Route 67 in St. Francois County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews construct turn lanes at various locations. This section of roadway is located from Route JJ (Jefferson County) to Cash Lane.Weather permitting, work will be performed Wednesday, May 16 through Friday, July 27 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

In conjunction with the diverging diamond interchange project improvements will be made to the intersection of Progress Drive and Route W in St. Francois County. MoDot’s contractor will rebuild the intersection and prepare it for installation of new traffic signals. As construction is underway, Progress Drive will be closed.Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, May 21and will last approximately two weeks.

Route 60-Work to replace the deck of the Route 60 bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad in Stoddard County is expected to begin Monday, March 26, weather permitting. The bridge is located east of Route 25 near Dexter, Mo. Westbound traffic will be diverted onto the eastbound lanes from County Road 517 to County Road 531. In addition to reducing traffic to one lane in each direction, a 16-foot width restriction will be in place. Completion is anticipated in late August, weather permitting. (Safe & Sound)

Route F in Texas County will be reduced to one lane while contractor crews perform a thin lift overlay. The roadway is located from US 63 to 3rd Street in Houston. Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, May 16 through Friday, May 25 from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Route Z in Texas County will be reduced to one lane while Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform routine bridge maintenance. The bridge located over the Big Piney River is located between Route 17 to Route AU. Weather permitting; work will take place Monday, April 30 through Thursday, May 24 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.

US 60 in Texas County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge repairs.The bridge is located between Business 60 and Cabool City Limits (bridge over the Big Piney River).Weather permitting, work will be performed Tuesday, May 29 and Wednesday, May 30 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Wayne County

Construction Projects

Route 34/67 Intersection at Silva: MoDOT is currently preparing to make changes at the intersection of Route 34 and the northbound Route 67 on and off ramps at Silva in Wayne County. This intersection operated as a four-way stop during construction of the Route 67 four-lane facility. On Feb. 16, MoDOT plans to remove the stop signs on Route 34, allowing traffic on Route 34 to pass through the intersect. Drivers on the two northbound Route 67 ramps will continue to stop at the intersection.

Southbound US 67 in Wayne County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform slide repairs on the shoulders. This section of roadway is located from Route A to Route 172. Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday, April 16 through Friday, June 29 from 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily including some nights and weekends.

Route H in Wright County will be CLOSED as contractor crews replace the bridge. This section of roadway is located from Route Z to Route 95 (bridge over Gasconade River). Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, May 14 and will reopen Saturday, Sept. 1.

Roadway Maintenance

North Outer Road in Wright County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews seal the roadway with a mixture of rock and oil. This section of roadway is located in Mountain Grove from Business 60 traveling 1-1/2 miles. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, May 21 through Tuesday, May 22 from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.

Route 60 in Wright County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace the traffic signal loops.This section of roadway is located at Route 6o and Route 95 in Mountain Grove. Weather permitting, work will be performed Wednesday, May 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Route K in Wright County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews seal the roadway with a mixture of rock and oil. This section of roadway is located from Route Y to the end of state maintenance. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, May 21 through Tuesday, May 22 from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. daily.

Route B in Wright County will be closed as Railroad crews replace the railroad crossing.This section of roadway is located between Corder Pass Road and outer road 60.Weather permitting, this work will be performed Tuesday, May 22 at 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.
