Barry County

  • Route 39: One-lane traffic at Table Rock Lake near Shell Knob. Bridge work.
  • Route 37 Alternating Passing Lanes/Resurfacing Monett to Arkansas state line: (Completion December 2012)

    One-lane traffic in Washburn for curb and gutter and approach work
  • Various state routes: Slow-moving operation and workers and equipment close to traffic. Sweeping and cleaning roadways and mowing.

Barton County

  • Route 126: One-lane traffic in areas between Route 71 and Golden City. Resurfacing.
  • Route 71: Lane closings in various locations. Installing signs and building emergency crossovers in median.
  • Various state routes: Workers and equipment close to traffic. Mowing.

Bates County

  • Route PP: One-lane traffic east of Rich Hill. Laying long asphalt patches.
  • Route 52 New Bridge: Road closed at Miami Creek four miles west of Butler until early August. Use alternate routes.
  • Route 71: One northbound and/or one southbound lane closed at MNA railroad south of Passaic. Bridge work.
  • Route 71 Outer Roads: Narrowed shoulders northbound and southbound between the Vernon/Bates county line and Rich Hill. Building outer roads on either side of Route 71. (Completion: December 2012)
  • Various state routes: Workers and equipment close to traffic. Mowing.

Benton County

  • Route Z: Slow-moving (8-12 mph) train of work trucks between Route 7 west of Warsaw and the Benton/Henry county line. Striping. Be alert for flashing arrows on trucks. Slow down. Do not drive on wet paint. Pass only when safe or wait until striping vehicles pull out of the way. Work hours: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Route 83: Slow-moving (8-12 mph) train of work trucks between Route 65 and the Benton/Hickory county line south of Warsaw. Striping. Be alert for flashing arrows on trucks. Slow down. Do not drive on wet paint. Pass only when safe or wait until striping vehicles pull out of the way. Work hours: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Route B: One-lane traffic south of Cole Camp. Laying long patches.
  • Route 65 Widening Lincoln to Warsaw: (Completion: September 2012)
    RAMP CLOSED: Northbound off ramp from Route 65 to Route 7 in Warsaw closed until the week of May 28 for paving
    RAMP CLOSED: Northbound on ramp at Route 65/Truman Dam Access Road interchange closed until the week of May 28 for paving
    Equipment entering and leaving work areas.
  • Various state routes: Workers and equipment close to traffic. Mowing.

Cedar County

  • Route 32: One-lane traffic between El Dorado Springs and Filley. Sealing shoulders.
  • Various state routes: Workers and equipment close to traffic. Mowing.

Christian County

  • Route 14/Gregg Road Intersection Widening in Nixa:
    Lane closings at times
    Equipment entering and leaving work areas
  • Route 65 Resurfacing/Bridge Rehabilitation between Christian County Route EE to Route 465 north of Branson: (Completion: December 2012)
    Two-way traffic in the northbound lanes at the Woods Fork and Camp Creek bridges south of Ozark
    Equipment entering and leaving work areas
  • Route 125: One-lane traffic in areas between Chadwick and Sparta. Resurfacing.
  • Various state routes: Slow-moving operation and workers and equipment close to traffic. Sweeping and cleaning roadways and mowing.


Dade County

  • Route 97: ROAD CLOSED between County Roads 22 and 32 north of Lockwood. Replacing drain pipes. Work hours: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Route 97 New Bridge: One-lane traffic at times and brief traffic stops at Sons Creek north of Lockwood. Until late August. (Safe & Sound)
  • Various state routes: Slow-moving operation and workers and equipment close to traffic. Mowing and spraying herbicides to control weeds.

Dallas County

  • Various state routes: Slow-moving operation and workers and equipment close to traffic. Mowing and spraying herbicides to control weeds

Greene County

  • Route 266 Pavement Repairs/Resurfacing Project:

One-lane traffic in areas between Greene/Lawrence county line and Greene County Route AB west of Springfield. Resurfacing

  • Route 60/65 Reconstruction in Springfield:

NEW TRAFFIC SHIFT: Two-way traffic in the westbound lanes of U.S. 60 between U.S. 65 and Glenstone Avenue. Speed limit reduced to 45 mph.

TRAFFIC SHIFT - Westbound Route 60 traffic shifted to eastbound lanes at Lake Springfield bridge east of Route 65.

          TRAFFIC SHIFT - Southbound Route 65 traffic shifted to old northbound lanes and southbound-to-

          eastbound ramp traffic using temporary pavement.
          RAMP CLOSED: Westbound U.S. 60-to-southbound U.S. 65 ramp CLOSED until fall 2012.
          Other nighttime lane and ramp closings possible. When lanes or ramps closed, 45 mph work zone

  • Campbell Avenue Six-Laning in Springfield:

Lane closings possible in various locations for short periods.

  • Chestnut Expressway/Route 65 Diverging Diamond Interchange in Springfield:

LANE CLOSINGS: One eastbound and/or one westbound lane closed at times on Chestnut Expressway. Work hours: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

One southbound lane of Route 65 closed at times.

Henry County

  • Route 52 New Bridge: Road closed at Bear Creek 1/2 mile south of Montrose until late June. Use alternate routes. (Safe & Sound)
  • Route K New Bridge: Road closed at Deepwater Creek 1/2 mile north of Germantown until late-June. Use alternate routes. Route 52, Route 13 and Route 18. (Safe & Sound)
  • Route N New Bridge: Road closed at Norris Creek east of Blairstown until early June. Use alternate routes. (Safe & Sound)
  • Various state routes: Workers and equipment close to traffic. Mowing.

Hickory County

  • Route BB New Bridge: Road closed at Chance Creek east of Preston until mid-June. Use alternate routes. (Safe & Sound)
  • Various state routes: Workers and equipment close to traffic. Mowing.

Jasper County

  • Route 66: One-lane traffic west of Joplin. Pavement repairs.
  • Route 71: Lane closings in various locations. Installing signs and building emergency crossovers in median.
  • Route 171 New Northbound RR Bridge Near Brooklyn Heights: (Completion: December 2012)
    One southbound and/or northbound lane closed at times at Missouri-Northern Arkansas railroad tracks. (Safe & Sound)
  • Main Street at Zora Street Interchange Construction: (Completion: 2013)

ROAD CLOSED: Zora Street CLOSED east of Main Street. Detour: Fountain Road to St. Louis Street to Broadway Street

TRAFFIC SHIFT: Main Street traffic shifted to southbound lanes with two-way traffic in the southbound lanes

  • Route OO: One-lane traffic north of Mount Vernon. Laying long asphalt patches.

McDonald County

  • Route 71: Lane closings in various locations. Installing signs and building emergency crossovers in median.
  • Various state routes: Slow-moving operation and workers and equipment close to traffic. Sweeping and cleaning roadways and mowing.

Newton County

  • Range Line Road (Business Route 71): NIGHT WORK - One-lane traffic at 36th Street in Joplin. Building sidewalks. Work hours: 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday-Friday.
  • Route 71: Lane closings in various locations. Installing signs and building emergency crossovers in median.
  • Various state routes: Slow-moving operation and workers and equipment close to traffic. Sweeping and cleaning roadways and mowing.

Polk County

  • Route 123: One-lane traffic at Bear Creek south of Fair Play. Bridge work.
  • Route RB: One-lane traffic west of Polk. Repairing shoulders.
  • Route J: One-lane traffic east of Halfway. Pavement repairs.
  • Route H: One-lane traffic at Pomme de Terre River north of Pleasant Hope. Bridge work.
  • Route 32: Slow-moving (8-12 mph) train of work trucks between Bolivar and Stockton. Striping. Be alert for flashing arrows on trucks. Slow down. Do not drive on wet paint. Pass only when safe or wait until striping vehicles pull out of the way. Work hours: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Various state routes: Workers and equipment close to traffic. Mowing.

St. Clair County

  • Route E New Bridge: Road closed at Truman Lake north of Roscoe until mid-August. Use alternate routes.
  • Route 82: One-lane traffic near Harper. Pavement repairs.
  • Route 13: Lane closings in areas between Deepwater and Collins. Installing rumble stripes.
  • Various state routes: Workers and equipment close to traffic. Mowing.

Stone County

  • Route 13: Slow-moving (8-12 mph) train of work trucks between Branson West and Kimberling City. Striping. Be alert for flashing arrows on trucks. Slow down. Do not drive on wet paint. Pass only when safe or wait until striping vehicles pull out of the way. Work hours: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Route BB: Slow-moving (8-12 mph) train of work trucks east of Crane. Striping. Be alert for flashing arrows on trucks. Slow down. Do not drive on wet paint. Pass only when safe or wait until striping vehicles pull out of the way. Work hours: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Route 173: One-lane traffic in areas between Routes 248/Route 265 at Elsey and Route 76 at Cape Fair. Resurfacing.
  • Route CC: One-lane traffic south of Hurley. Laying long patches.
  • Route 13 Widening Branson West to Kimberling City: (Completion: December 2012)
    Route 13 shifted to temporary by-pass at Rollin Acres Road. Speed limit 35 mph.
    Nighttime lane closings on Route 13 in areas for widening work and paving. Work hours: 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

  • Route 76/Taney County Route T Turn-Lane Project: (Completion late June)
    Possible lane closings between Branson and Kirbyville
  • Various state routes: One-lane traffic and workers and equipment close to traffic. Pavement repairs and mowig.

Vernon County

  • Route C: One-lane traffic in areas between Route M and Route OO in the Harwood area. Sealing pavement with a mixture of rock and oil. Follow pilot car.
  • Route H: One-lane traffic near Richards. Pavement repairs.
  • Route B New Bridge: Road closed at Horse Creek northwest of Jerico Springs until late August. Use alternate routes.
  • Route V Bridge Rehabilitation: Road closed at the Little Osage River north of Stotesbury. Bridge replacement. (Completion late June)
  • Route 71/Vernon County Route TT interchange project north of Nevada: (Completion December 2012)
    Lane closings on Route 71 at Route TT.
    Crews and equipment close to traffic on shoulders on either side of Route 71.
  • Route 71 Northbound Bridge Replacement at Douglas Branch north of Nevada: (Completion: December 2012)

Webster County

  • Route MM: One-lane traffic east of Niangua. Pavement repairs.
