I-270 Bridge Renovation at Route N (New Florissant Rd.) & Route AC (New Halls Ferry Rd.)

Route N at I-270  Route AC at I-270

The Missouri Department of Transportation has completed the project to renovate the driving surface on the I-270 bridges over New Florissant Road and New Halls Ferry.

The bridges were originally built in the 1960's and are more than 50 years old. Being classified as structurally deficient, the bridges will need to be replaced within the next 10 years.

This project is not a permanent fix. Installing a new surface over the original structures only increase the usable life of the bridge.

This construction was scheduled for July 2015 and took approximately a month to complete.
